A superb vintage in Hawkes's Bay for Syrah. A rick and generous wine with a velvet smooth palate, ripe berry and spice notes and an intense, long flavoursome finish. 

98% Syrah and 2% Tempranillo all handpicked and fermented in small batches. Natural springtime malolactic fermentation. Aged 22 months in French oak barrels, 30% new, and a further 8 months on light lees. Bottled without fining.
