Handpicked from two inland vineyard sites, with Bridge Pa Triangle (EARTH vineyard) contributing a soft, fleshy character and Gimblett Gravels (STONE vineyard) concentrated, well-structured fruit. 

20% aged in new French oak for 15 months, the balance in older seasoned barrels and tank.

Inky, concentrated merlot with plum, dark berry, dark chocolate/mocha, liquorice, vanilla and spicy oak flavours supported by sweet, ripe tannins. Accessible now but will certainly benefit from bottle age. (Bob Campbell MW)
